My favorite holiday tradition is the Christmas Eve slumber party — all of the kids in the family set up sleeping bags and spend the night in one room — they keep each other company and stay out of Santa’s way, because we all know it’s nearly impossible for kids to get to sleep on Christmas Eve.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

  • My favorite Holiday tradition is definitely cooking with my mom and abuelita as we make a combination of different dishes that are both American and Cuban. I love our multi-cultural Thanksgiving and Christmas. It makes it that much more special to be able to share in both my heritage and the person I am today by combining the foods of both countries.
