When I made this for the first time I had a feeling it would turn out amazing. So, I made sure I snapped a few pictures of the process to share the results with you. As anticipated, this was the bomb and I guarantee you, this is the best glace ever. It is so good, that it deserves to be slather on every ounce of bacon out there for the world to enjoy. Can you tell I like it? And that I L.O.V.E. bacon? Well, Sorry if I had not shared that key fact about myself. Yes, I love bacon. When I see it, smell it or feel it’s presence, my guts and heart go: bacon, bacon, bacon! You know that feeling right? Please say yes, don’t leave me alone on this one. The good thing is that Mr. B. loves bacon too, probably just as much as I do. He and I can
eat a hole pound of bacon in one sitting alone relate. Isn’t it a beautiful thing, to share interests with others? I get oh so happy when I discover I share a love for certain things with another creature in this world. Aaaaand, that leads me to reveal another weird thing about me: I tend to get over excited when I meet people that share common interest with me. For example if you are a food blogger and we meet, beware, I might just jump all over you. Literally. And if you speak Spanish like I do, beware, the same effect will happen. Oh, and if you have a unique pair of yoga pants that you just can’t live without, like a certain someone I know, beware, I may want to be your best friend forever. You get the idea right?
So where am I going with all of this? Not quite sure myself to be honest. But as you know, I just love to spread positive and cheerful thoughts and I guess, with this, I would like to invite you to be friendly, talk to others, ask questions, be involved, be present, celebrate what makes you similar to others, celebrate what makes you unique and of course do not ever stop sharing your love for bacon.
P.S. you can start by making this recipe. If this post did not cheer you up, I bet this chipotle-glazed bacon will.
Remember I said slather? Yup, I mean it. Cover well each bacon slice and make sure every inch gets some. The result will be amazing. See for yourself.
- 10 bacon slices
- ½ cup honey
- 4 tablespoons chipotle in adobo sauce
- Preheat oven to 400 F
- In a bowl mix chipotle in adobo sauce and honey, until well combined.
- You can then brush this glaze on each bacon slice on both sides or drench bacon in the glaze so they can get completely covered by the glaze.
