I have been a lover of hummus for the longest time. I remember when I could only get it at traditional mediterranean restaurants. Now a days you can find it in a variety of flavors at the store. Sabra Dipping Co. is my go-to brand and today I am bringing you a two ingredient hummus guacamole that could not have been this easy without my Sabra hummus.
So how is this a two ingredient Hummus Guacamole? I simply mashed avocados with Sabra hummus, that’s all it takes! Oh, and I’ve never had such a creamier guac. The chickpeas make it even a more fulfilling dip. It is perfection. But, I not only loved to use the hummus in this recipe for the texture but also because the hummus comes already with the rest of the ingredients I need for the guac: a touch of acidity, salt, garlic, and a spicy pepper flavor to give it a kick.
The most difficult part of this recipe was to decide which of these Sabra products to use. Which one would you have picked: Jalapeño, Supremely Spicy, or Chipotle?
I was this close to go with Jalapeño but so that Little L could enjoy it too, I opted for the Chipotle one which has a spicy kick but is mostly smokey and milder in flavor. You can then mash it all together or blended in a food processor to obtain the texture and consistency you prefer.
I am so happy to share this recipe today because it’s National Hummus Day and Sabra is giving away coupons to celebrate just visit nhd.sabra.com and get them coupons. Hurry coupons are only available today!
