As Little L is just a toddler I like to make really, really simple crafts with her. This was the main criteria when looking for a DIY Father’s Day card idea on our contributor Carolina’s blog. I found this idea which I think is just perfect because the steps are so easy that I know my daughter will be able to make them herself. I want her to have a sense of ownership, feel proud and accomplished when giving her dad a present.
Celebrating father’s day is much more than the gift. It is about the thought put behind wanting to honor and celebrate that super important man in our lives. Don’t you think? I am pretty sure Mr. B. will love this card.
Learn how to make them below:
You will need
- Bow tie pasta
- Acrylic paint
- Paint brush
- Card or construction paper
- Hot glue gun
- Crayons, color pencils, or markers
Paint the bow tie pasta any color you may like.
Adhere the bow ties to the card paper using hot glue gun.
You can add any message you would like or draw other items related to the theme like a mustache. We are pretty sure any father will be extremely happy to get such a pretty card.
